Uljin-gun Opens 'Green Agriculture University'... Shiitake Mushroom, Hanwoo, and Agricultural Product Processing Classes Begin
Uljin County, Gyeongbuk Province, operates the "18th Uljin Green Agriculture University," a core leader training program aimed at the great transformation of Uljin agriculture and enhancing the competitiveness of local agriculture.
Starting with the Shiitake Mushroom class on the 13th of this month, followed by the Korean Beef class on the 15th, and the Agricultural Products Processing class on the 23rd, a total of 103 students are enrolled this year.
The Shiitake Mushroom class covers topics from introductory cultivation techniques to pest and disease management and cultivation environment control. The Korean Beef class focuses on fattening management and artificial insemination, while the Agricultural Products Processing class is designed for agricultural food processing entrepreneurship, providing education through both specialized theory and practical training.
