Busan National University Receives 'Highest' Grade in Creative Convergence Engineering Talent Development Evaluation
The 'IoT Home Appliance Consortium' led by the Center for Engineering Education Innovation at Pusan National University received the highest grade of 'Excellent' in the evaluation of the first phase achievements and the second phase plan of the Creative Convergence Engineering Talent Cultivation Support Project.
This phase evaluation was conducted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, targeting 14 consortia selected in 2022.
The 'IoT Home Appliance Consortium,' which received the highest grade, includes five regional universities?Gyeongsang National University, Pukyong National University, Dongmyung University, Dongseo University, and Inje University?centered around the host university, Pusan National University.
The consortium was highly evaluated for maximizing the efficiency of the project by intensively implementing educational programs tailored to industry demands through active sharing of engineering education activities and organic cooperation among universities.

He added, "This year, we plan to actively operate industry-linked programs utilizing resources from home appliance companies such as LG Electronics, local industries, and participating universities, as well as industry-academia-research-government collaboration."
