Apply for the 'Love Green PC'... Yeongyang-gun Addresses Information Gap for the Information-Disadvantaged Group
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will accept applications for the distribution of Love Green PCs from March 13 to April 21, targeting information-disadvantaged groups such as low-income and near-poverty households, as well as institutions performing the function of bridging the digital divide, including facilities for people with disabilities and social welfare facilities.
According to Yeongyang-gun, eligible applicants include information-disadvantaged groups such as low-income households (basic livelihood security recipients), near-poverty households, single-parent families, multicultural families, people with disabilities, and national merit recipients (grades 1 to 7), as well as institutions located in information-disadvantaged areas or those performing the function of bridging the digital divide, such as facilities for people with disabilities, daycare centers, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and social welfare facilities.
However, those (or institutions) who received used PCs between 2021 and 2022 are excluded from the distribution, and priority will be given to basic livelihood security recipients due to economic reasons.
To apply, applicants must prepare the required documents and either visit the nearest eup/myeon office or send them by mail to the Autonomous Administration Division of the county office.
