Gyeongbuk Office of Education Publishes Elementary Textbook 'The Shining Nutritional Independence Movement Story Like Stars'
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education announced on the 13th that the local education curriculum subject research group has published and distributed "The Shining Story of Yeongyang Independence Movement Like a Star," a story about the independence movement in our region that upper-grade elementary school students can easily learn and experience.
The newly published Yeongyang local independence movement story, "The Shining Story of Yeongyang Independence Movement Like a Star," is composed of the history of the independence movement, Yeongyang independence activists and independence movement sites, and an experiential course following the independence movement path.

View original imageThis workbook-style teaching material, published with advice from the Gyeongbuk Independence Movement Memorial Hall, is designed to be engaging and practical, allowing upper-grade elementary students in the Gyeongbuk region to easily conduct lessons linked with curriculum and experiential activities and to actually experience local independence movement sites.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education has been conducting historical explorations to experience independence movement sites from "Imcheonggak to Harbin" annually since 2019 to foster patriotism. Following Yeongyang, the local education curriculum subject research group plans to develop independence movement story materials for the Yeongdeok region this year.
In 2019, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education developed and distributed localized teaching materials such as "The Holy Land of Independence Movement, Andong Independence Movement Story," in 2020 "From Baraemi Village to Paris, Bonghwa Independence Movement Story," and in 2021 "The Yecheon Independence Movement Story We Must Know."
