Resumption of SRT Service on the 'Osong-Daejeon' Section Suspended Due to Daejeon Fire
SRT operator SR announced on the 13th that the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line section ‘Osong-Daejeon,’ which had been suspended due to a fire at a tire factory in Moksang-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, resumed operations from 6:30 AM.
Accordingly, SRT trains departing from Suseo have been running on the entire route starting with the 6:00 AM train (#303), and SRT trains departing from Busan have been running on the entire route starting with the 5:35 AM train (#304).
However, some train delays are expected due to the fire. Train #301 is suspended on the entire route, and train #302 operates only on the Daejeon-Suseo section. The SRT Honam Line is operating normally.

Earlier, at around 10:09 PM on the 12th, a fire broke out at the Hankook Tire factory in Moksang-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. As a result, highway and railway traffic passing through this section were suspended.
