Seoul City Offers Free Training for 'Big Data Analysis Experts'
Operation for 5 Months Starting from March
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 13th that it will operate a 'Big Data Professional Analysis Training' starting in March to enhance citizens' data utilization skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities. To this end, 160 participants will be recruited over five months until July at the Seoul Big Data Campus.

The training will be conducted in a total of five sessions across two courses from the 27th of this month to July 7th, and the training is free of charge. The curriculum includes ▲Basic Big Data Analysis Course ▲Intermediate Big Data Analysis Course, developed in collaboration with professional educational institutions to provide data literacy education covering the fundamentals of big data analysis to practical training for employment and entrepreneurship.
Jinman Kim, Director of Digital Policy at Seoul City, stated, “At the ‘Big Data Campus,’ which possesses valuable data and analysis infrastructure not disclosed externally, we will provide educational opportunities to citizens who want to learn about data analysis, thereby bridging the data gap and contributing to the creation of a data utilization ecosystem throughout society.” He also added, “We hope for the active interest and participation of citizens in the ‘Big Data Campus’ training starting in March.”
