Jogyuil, Mayor of Jinju, Visits and Inspects Bicycle Paths with Group Leaders
Visiting the Naedong-myeon Office to Yudong Village Site
Jo Gyu-il, Mayor of Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, visited the site of the streetlight installation project between Naedong-myeon Office and Yudong Village on the Gyeongjeon Line abandoned railway bicycle road on the 9th, along with local organization leaders, to conduct a preliminary inspection.
The Gyeongjeon Line abandoned railway bicycle road was developed by utilizing the abandoned railway, starting construction in 2018 and completed in 2022 up to Yudong Village with a total project cost of 5.1 billion KRW.
Among this, the road section between Naedong-myeon Office and Yudong Village had streetlights installed only from the Namgang riverside to Naedong-myeon Office, causing inconvenience for residents of Jeongju, Doksan, and Yudong villages during nighttime walks and rides.
