Changnyeong-gun Signs $2 Million Agreement for Exporting Fresh Agricultural Products to Japan

Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, signed a business agreement to export fresh agricultural products worth 2 million USD (approximately 2.6 billion KRW) at the 'Tokyo Food Expo (FOODEX 2023)' held in Tokyo, Japan, on the 8th.
At the expo, the county exhibited fresh agricultural products such as mini paprika, long green peppers, and Oriental tomatoes produced by Gyeongnam Trade and RS Agricultural Corporation (located in Gilgok-myeon).
Agreement signed for $2 million export of fresh agricultural products from Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam to Japan.

A fresh produce wholesale company, H AND F International LLC, signed an annual export agreement for 70 tons and 2 million USD for three items. These items are new export products and received great response from local buyers.
The 'Tokyo Food Expo (FOODEX 2023)' is one of the world's top three food expos alongside Germany's ANUGA and Paris's SIAL PARIS, and is the largest expo held in Asia.
It was held at Tokyo Big Sight Hall from the 7th to the 10th and attracted participants from over 70 countries worldwide.
H AND F International LLC, the party to the export agreement, is a company that imports and distributes agricultural products from major countries in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
The county plans to establish a foundation for exporting new agricultural products through continuous communication and exchange with the company.
