Dankook University Signs Business Agreement with Onsemi Korea, the Largest Power Semiconductor Company in Korea

View original imageDankook University Next-Generation Semiconductor Project Group has signed a business agreement with the Korean branch of onsemi, a global leader in power semiconductors (PMIC), to foster semiconductor specialists.
On the 8th, the Dankook University project group held a signing ceremony with onsemi Korea, the Korean corporation of the onsemi group, at Dankook University Jukjeon Campus, announcing their commitment to enhance the industrial and educational ecosystem in the semiconductor field.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on ▲ jointly promoting undergraduate and master's internships linked to recruitment ▲ joint research and government research and development (R&D) projects ▲ regular research exchange meetings between the two institutions ▲ joint development and operation of talent cultivation programs tailored to corporate needs ▲ operation of employment and entrepreneurship support programs ▲ expansion of technology commercialization.
Onsemi was selected as one of the Fortune 500 companies last year and is a global leader in the power semiconductor sector. It recorded sales of 8 trillion KRW last year and is among the world's Top 20 semiconductor global companies included in the U.S. S&P 500 index.
The domestic corporation, onsemi Korea, employs 1,900 staff and achieved sales exceeding 1 trillion KRW last year.
