Jeongeup-si Promotes 'Birth Celebration Supplies Support Project'
Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 8th that it will promote the 'Birth Celebration Goods Support Project' to overcome the long-term low birthrate phenomenon and create a region that is good for having and raising children.
To support the birth of new families, the city will present an eco-friendly baby bedding set consisting of a blanket, pillow, and pad as a birth commemorative gift.

The application method allows recipients to receive commemorative goods worth 100,000 KRW immediately upon submitting an application form to the local town or township office or community service center at the time of birth registration.
The city expects that providing birth celebration goods to families with newborns will help foster a childbirth encouragement atmosphere and alleviate the economic burden associated with purchasing baby products.
A city official said, “We will continue to discover and promote various projects to celebrate the birth of new life together with the local community and to create a family-friendly image of Jeongeup City where happy parenting is possible.”
