Yeongam-gun Holds Innovation Policy Report Meeting... Discussion on 101 Tasks
Taking the First Step Toward Innovation for the Happiness of Gunmin in Hyeoksin Yeongam
Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do recently held a county government innovation policy briefing session at the Nangsansil of the county office.
According to the county on the 7th, the briefing session was organized to discover and promote innovation tasks across administration to enhance regional competitiveness and realize administration that satisfies the residents.

A total of 101 innovation promotion tasks were discovered and reported by 96 teams from 25 departments and divisions, and all departments freely discussed the future direction of promotion.
The main innovation tasks discussed included △a visiting county head approval system △establishment of a youth policy platform △introduction of a job project performance analysis system △operation of a public building renovation workshop, among others.
Various ideas were presented across all administrative fields, ranging from work innovation plans through internal administrative system improvements to collaborative projects among departments and divisions, and discovering projects with high resident satisfaction.
The discovered policies will be actively utilized as detailed implementation plans for comprehensive innovation development to secure future growth engines for county government innovation, aiming to promote substantial county administration.

A county official expressed strong determination, saying, “We are focusing administrative power on a new Yeongam and a Yeongam created by the residents, making 2023 the inaugural year of innovation. We expect the quality of life of our residents to improve and the local economy to regain vitality.” He added, “Yeongam-gun will strive even harder to take the lead in achieving local administrative innovation.”
