View original imageOn the 6th, Korea Railroad held a video conference at its headquarters in Daejeon with the heads of departments, offices, and divisions at the headquarters and nationwide affiliates to declare the emergency safety management system.
It also announced key measures such as compliance with basic rules to establish safety and work discipline under the acting president system and strengthening internal inspection activities.
The government dismissed Na Hee-seung, president of Korea Railroad, on the 3rd. In response, Korea Railroad decided to focus on establishing an 'absolute safety system,' promoting organizational stabilization, building a rational labor-management relationship based on law and principles, and striving for management improvement to normalize operations, led by acting president Ko Jun-young.
Earlier, since the 28th of last month, Korea Railroad has been thoroughly managing safety by involving executives at level 2 and above in emergency duty on holidays to respond immediately to emergency situations.
