Gochang-gun Supports Small Business Owners' Card Fees... Up to 300,000 Won
Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 6th that it will launch the ‘Small Business Card Fee Support Project’ from the 7th to reduce the management burden on small business owners.
The target of the ‘Card Fee Support Project’ is businesses with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less last year, and it provides up to 300,000 KRW (0.5% of the 2022 card fees).
Applications are available for industries such as retail, food, lodging, and services, excluding credit guarantee foundation re-guarantee restricted industries such as entertainment establishments and gambling.
If one person owns multiple businesses, support can be received for up to two businesses.
The required documents for application are a business registration certificate and a copy of the bankbook, and the county will collectively verify the total sales and card sales of the previous year through the National Tax Service to provide convenience to small business owners.
Eligible small business owners can apply by visiting the town or township office where their business is located.
After the documents are received, qualifications and sales amounts will be reviewed, and payments will be made sequentially within the budget.
A county official said, “We hope this will be of some help to small business owners struggling with high interest rates and high prices,” and added, “We will do our best in promotion and operation to ensure that all eligible small business owners receive support.”
