A Method of Walking and Checking Together with Local Residents
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 6th that it will launch the 'Safety Round' campaign starting tomorrow to cultivate safety awareness among local residents by discovering and reporting safety hazards in daily life for improvement.
'Safety Round' is a resident-participation safety culture campaign where residents, local governments, and safety-related private organizations come together to explore their surroundings, identify safety hazards, and work on improvements through reporting.
The first joint campaign will be held on the 7th around the Surowangneung area in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, with about 80 participants including officials from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gimhae City, as well as Gimhae City safety officers, autonomous disaster prevention groups, women's civil defense, local residents, and private organizations.
