KT Launches 'Genie TV TVING Choice' Subscription Plan
KT announced on the 5th that it has launched a dedicated online video service (OTT) Tving plan on its internet TV (IPTV) service, Genie TV.
Last year, KT revamped its IPTV service by introducing a 'media portal' on Genie TV that conveniently provides all content on a single platform. Since then, it has expanded partnerships with domestic and international OTT providers.
Genie TV offers the latest Tving original content such as "Island," "Two Feet Ticketing," and upcoming releases like "After School War Activities," as well as movies, overseas series, Paramount+ originals, and exclusive content. The supported set-top boxes are "Genie TV Set-top Box A" and "Genie TV Set-top Box 3." KT customers can watch Tving on the big screen through Genie TV and enjoy optimal services such as recommended content in the "OTT Service Exclusive Section," AI voice search, and remote control hotkeys.
On the 2nd, KT newly introduced two Genie TV Choice plans that combine IPTV fees and Tving subscription fees: "Genie TV Tving Choice Standard (KRW 25,300/month)" and "Genie TV Tving Choice Premium (KRW 28,300/month)." Existing Genie TV Essence plan users can save KRW 2,100 per month by using the Genie TV Tving Choice plans instead of subscribing to Tving separately. Additionally, Tving monthly subscription plans are also available as Genie TV add-on services, allowing easy subscription to "Tving Standard (KRW 10,900/month)" and "Tving Premium (KRW 13,900/month)" through Genie TV.
