Police Conduct Special Crackdown on March 1st Run in Seoul City... 53 Arrested
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 1st that they conducted a special crackdown on reckless motorcycle riders on March 1st and arrested a total of 53 individuals. They also issued fines to these individuals and confiscated 5 motorcycles.
The police explained that with the weather warming up, the appearance of reckless riders was anticipated, and due to an increase in noise complaints from citizens, a special crackdown was carried out in the early morning hours around Yeouinaru Station in Yeongdeungpo-gu. The police added that 120 traffic officers and 63 patrol cars and motorcycles were deployed for this operation.
