New Confirmed Cases 10,817... About 1,000 Fewer Than a Week Ago (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters reported that as of midnight on the 28th, there were 10,817 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 30,513,721.
The number of new cases increased by 6,791 compared to the previous day (4,026), reflecting a decrease in testing over the weekend. However, it decreased by 1,054 compared to a week ago on the 21st (11,871).
Among the new confirmed cases, 30 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 164, one more than the previous day, but it has remained in the 100s for nine consecutive days.
