Jangseong-gun Supports Agricultural Drone Certification... Up to 1.25 Million KRW
Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do supports obtaining agricultural drone certification.
The county announced on the 27th that it is recruiting 'Smart Agriculture Drone Digital Technology Utilization Professional Technical Personnel Trainees' until the 10th of next month.
Applicants must be agricultural workers aged 18 or older residing in Jangseong, and must have a driver's license (Class 2) or a physical examination certificate to apply.
However, those who intend to use drones for purposes other than agriculture are excluded from support.
The total number of trainees is 10, and the county supports 50% of the drone certification training fee, up to a maximum of 1.25 million KRW.
The training will be provided by a professional education institution authorized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and agricultural workers can directly choose their preferred training institution.
The training schedule consists of 3 weeks between next month and July, covering 40 hours of theory and simulated flight, and 20 hours of practical training, including safety accident prevention methods and flight-related regulations.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Central Agricultural Counseling Office at the Jangseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center in person.
A county official said, "Agricultural drones are highly useful in various fields such as crop growth monitoring, pest control, and seed sowing," and added, "We encourage many local agricultural workers who are interested to participate."
