Korea Rail Network Authority Donates 22 Million Won to Turkey and Syria for Relief Fund
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 23rd that it donated 22 million won to Turkey and Syria, where people lost their homes due to the earthquake.

View original imageThe donation was collected bit by bit by the employees of the Rail Network Authority. This donation, which will be delivered through the Korean Red Cross, will be used to procure essential daily necessities and relief supplies for the local disaster victims.
So far, the Rail Network Authority has voluntarily raised and donated funds whenever major disasters occurred overseas, such as the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, and the 2015 Kathmandu earthquake in Nepal.
