Hampyeong-gun Selected as 'Best Institution' by Ministry of Health and Welfare
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Senior Welfare Center in Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, achieved the great honor of being selected as the top institution (Grade A) in the "2022 National Senior Welfare Center Facility Evaluation" hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
According to the county on the 22nd, the Ministry of Health and Welfare conducted an evaluation last year on 398 senior welfare centers nationwide, assessing overall operation and projects of the welfare centers, including facilities and environment, financial soundness, and programs.
As a result of this evaluation, the Hampyeong-gun Senior Welfare Center received high marks for promoting projects linked with other social welfare facilities such as the Family Center and Youth Culture House, as well as for the efficient use of space through office sharing.
