Nonghyup Distribution and Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution, which operate Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, announced on the 22nd that they will offer discounted sales of carrots and cabbages for three days from the 24th to the 26th, and apples for seven days from the 23rd to March 1st, to help farmers struggling with sluggish consumption and to stabilize grocery prices.
To stabilize grocery prices that surged due to cold waves and heavy snowfall, carrots will be sold at a 44% discount and cabbages at a 25% discount for three days from the 24th to the 26th at Nonghyup Hanaro Mart Yangjae and Changdong branches.
At Hanaro Mart Yangjae branch, to expand the sales channels for apple farmers, imperfect apples that are small in size or have slight blemishes will be offered at a 30% discount compared to regular products for seven days from the 23rd to March 1st.
