Gwangju Seo-gu Signs MOU for Talent Development Project

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, signed a business agreement for the Hope Plus Talent Development Project with Central Yoon Gil-jung Eye Clinic (Chief Director Yoon Gil-jung) and the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation (Head Kim Eun-young) on the 21st at the Nanum Hall on the 3rd floor of Seo-gu Office.

According to Seo-gu on the 22nd, the Hope Plus Talent Development Project is a program that supports local children and youth with special talents in the region to freely pursue their dreams. Currently, about 10 institutions and 24 talents are connected through this project.

Seogu District signed a business agreement on the 21st with Central Yoon Gil Joong Eye Clinic, Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Gwangju Regional Headquarters, and the Hope Plus Talent Development Project.

This agreement was prepared to provide an opportunity for a student talented in art to freely pursue their dreams.

The main contents of the agreement include Central Yoon Gil-jung Eye Clinic sponsoring a certain amount to talented youth recommended by Seo-gu Office, and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation continuously managing the youth selected for talent development.

Seo-gu committed to actively providing administrative support and monitoring for efficient project implementation.

Chief Director Yoon Gil-jung said, “I am very pleased to be able to offer even a little help to talented youth in the region.”

Head Kim Eun-young said, “We will continue to collaborate with Seo-gu Office and Central Yoon Gil-jung Eye Clinic to discover and connect talented individuals in the region.”

Seo-gu Mayor Kim Yi-gang expressed, “Despite the economically difficult times, I sincerely thank the director and the head for playing a supportive role for local talents,” and added, “Seo-gu will also seek ways to discover and support local talents in various ways.”
