Wemade Forms Strategic Partnership with Saudi Game Company 'Nine66'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Choi] WeMade announced on the 21st that it has formed a strategic partnership with Nine66, a subsidiary of Savvy Games Group.
Savvy Games Group is a game company established by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund with the long-term goal of making Saudi Arabia a global hub for gaming and esports. It has announced plans to invest $37.8 billion in the global gaming industry. It has five subsidiaries responsible for building gaming industry infrastructure, game studios, gaming-related investments, esports, and more.
Among them, Nine66 is a key subsidiary that provides game publishing, developer training, financing, and consulting services in Saudi Arabia. It focuses on localizing popular overseas games for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and expanding the gaming ecosystem.
Through this partnership, the two companies have agreed to cooperate in various ways to expand the game development ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and worldwide. Nine66 is also considering servicing WeMade’s global blockchain game platform WEMIX Play games in the Middle East region.
