Silla University Lifelong Education Center Selected as Specialized Consignment Training Institution for Veterans
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Silla University Lifelong Education Center has been selected as the '2023 Specialized Consignment Education Institution for Veterans' and signed a business agreement with the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office Veterans Support Center.
The business agreement ceremony was held on the 20th at the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office, with key personnel from both institutions in attendance.
The selected educational institution will receive grants from the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to provide vocational education and training aimed at strengthening employment and entrepreneurship capabilities and facilitating smooth social reintegration for veterans (or those scheduled to be discharged) with mid- to long-term service (5 years or more).
Accordingly, Silla University Lifelong Education Center plans to conduct a special security guard new training (residential) program for veterans, with the training period scheduled from August 3 to 10, totaling 7 days (88 hours).
Officials from Silla University Lifelong Education Center and Busan Regional Veterans Office are taking a group commemorative photo after signing an agreement.

According to the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, among the total 39 institutions selected nationwide in 2023 for the general field of consigned veteran education courses, only two institutions in Busan, including Silla University, were selected.
