Koo Bon-sang, Chairman of LIG, Receives Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from Sejong University

Sejong University held the '81st Regular Degree Conferment Ceremony' at Daeyang Hall on the 17th and awarded Gu Bon-sang, Chairman of LIG, an honorary Doctor of Engineering degree.
Sejong University President Bae Deok-hyo said, "Gu Bon-sang, Chairman of LIG, has greatly contributed to the economic development and security enhancement of the Republic of Korea and has led the development of advanced weapon systems," adding, "He has faithfully carried out successful external activities in various fields such as Vice President of the Korea-China-Latin America Association and President of the Korea Disabled Football Association."
Chairman Gu successfully exported the Cheongung-II to the UAE last year and is striving to promote the excellence of Korean weapon systems worldwide and expand defense industry exports by pioneering markets in Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Latin America.
