Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, Public Contest for System Improvement in Mountain Area Management Sector Announcement
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has launched a public contest campaign to improve regulations related to forest development and management.
This contest, conducted by the Korea Forest Service, is open until March 14 and aims to improve various regulations such as development standards and procedures related to mountain area conversion that cause inconvenience to the public in developing and preserving mountain areas, as well as mountain area conservation measures. Any citizen of the Republic of Korea can participate.
Proposals can be submitted by mail or email to the Mountain Area Policy Division of the Korea Forest Service, and the proposal form and other details can be found in the announcement section of the administrative information on the Korea Forest Service website.
Submitted proposals will be reviewed by experts and selected, and outstanding proposals will be awarded certificates from the Korea Forest Service Commissioner (1 grand prize, 2 excellence awards, 5 encouragement awards, and 1 special award for an organization) along with a total prize money of 4.5 million KRW.
