New Deputy Director Ahn Hyuk-geun Appointed at Korea Construction Policy Institute
[Asia Economy Reporter Noh Kyung-jo] Ahn Hyuk-geun, former senior research fellow at the Korea Institute of Public Administration (photo), has been appointed as the new vice president of the Korea Construction Policy Institute. His term is three years from the date of appointment (February 14).

Vice President Ahn earned master's degrees in Architectural Engineering from Kyung Hee University and Urban Administration from the University of Akron in the United States. He also holds a Ph.D. in Urban Administration from the University of Texas. He previously served as vice president at the Korea Institute of Public Administration and is currently the chairman of the Regulatory Review Committee at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, as well as a regulatory review member at the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
