Busan Gijang-gun and Korea Electrical Safety Corporation Promote Signing of Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun is set to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 27th with the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation Busan·Ulsan Regional Headquarters to promote "Electrical Safety Management and Fire Disaster Prevention for Gijang-gun's Facility Horticulture Farmers."
This MOU was established to conduct electrical safety inspections of agricultural facilities, where fire accidents recur annually, to encourage voluntary facility safety improvements by farmers, and to protect farmers' property and promote the development of Gijang agriculture through fire prevention education.

Through this MOU, the two organizations plan to ▲ provide high-quality technical expertise for electrical safety inspections of agricultural facilities ▲ conduct joint campaigns to prevent electrical fires in agricultural facilities ▲ support electrical safety and fire prevention education for farmers ▲ cooperate in urban-rural convergence win-win exchange activities and enhance the social value of the region ▲ and jointly collaborate on other matters deemed necessary by both organizations.
Jeong Jong-bok, the head of Gijang-gun, said, "Through this agreement, we expect to effectively prevent fires by removing fire risk factors in agricultural facilities in advance and raising farmers' awareness of electrical safety."
