Gwangju Shinsegae Launches 'Love Blood Donation Campaign'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) announced on the 14th that it will conduct the 'Love Blood Donation Campaign' for employees and customers in the first half of this year in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross Gwangju Jeonnam Blood Center.
This event will take place on the 14th from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the back entrance on the first floor of the Gwangju Shinsegae main building, where the Korean Red Cross mobile blood donation bus will visit and the campaign will be carried out with the voluntary participation of employees.
The blood donation campaign with Gwangju Shinsegae employees has been resumed since last year to alleviate the blood supply shortage caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and is held twice a year, once in the first half and once in the second half.
To encourage blood donation on the day, all participants will receive various benefits such as 'movie tickets' and 'beverage vouchers.'
In particular, to ensure safety during blood donation, personal hygiene measures such as wearing masks and hand sanitization will be strictly observed.
A Gwangju Shinsegae official said, "We hope that the warm hearts of the employees who voluntarily participated in the blood donation campaign and the blood will be delivered to those in need and provide great strength."
