On the same day, the 12th and 13th president Park Mihwa stepped down, and the 14th president Kim Shinyoung took office, receiving encouragement from the attendees.
President Kim Shinyoung said, “Building on the achievements of previous presidents, I will continuously strive to protect the rights and improve the status of women farmers, actively engage as guardians of rural areas, and dedicate myself to the development of the organization.”
Additionally, during the event, commendation plaques were awarded to members who contributed to the development of local agriculture, including former president Park Mihwa, and the Korean Women Farmers donated funds collected by members to the Pohang City Scholarship Fund to participate in nurturing local talents.
