Incheon International Airport Corporation Provides 50 Million KRW Emergency Relief Fund for Turkey Earthquake Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 14th that it will provide an emergency relief fund of 50 million KRW and relief supplies from its executives and employees to the victims affected by the major earthquake that occurred in T?rkiye on the 6th.
T?rkiye is a country with a deep connection to the corporation, having won the operation consulting project for Istanbul New Airport in 2015 and transferred Incheon Airport's operational know-how.
The corporation plans to support the emergency relief fund through the Korean Red Cross so that it can be used for humanitarian aid activities such as local relief efforts and damage recovery in T?rkiye. Through this, it is expected to provide practical assistance such as medical support and relief supplies to the victims.
In addition to the emergency relief fund support at the company level, executives and employees of the corporation are voluntarily collecting relief supplies to support the earthquake-affected areas. Winter clothing and blankets for the victims will be collected and delivered via Turkish Airlines.
