View original imageAmid difficulties in blood supply due to the aftermath of COVID-19, Yeongyang-gun has continuously promoted blood donation campaigns. Last year, 135 people participated in blood donation over three sessions, and this year, to ensure a stable blood supply, the Love Blood Donation Campaign is planned to be held quarterly, four times a year.
The eligible age for blood donation is from 16 to 69 years old. Those aged 65 and above can donate only if they are experienced donors aged 60 to 64. Before donation, individuals who have taken medication or traveled abroad undergo counseling, and only qualified persons can participate in blood donation.
