Governor Kim Dong-yeon Offers Condolences to Earthquake Victims in Turkey on the 13th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, will pay condolences to the nearly 30,000 victims of the T?rkiye earthquake.
Gyeonggi Province announced that Governor Kim will visit the Embassy of T?rkiye in Seoul's Jangchung-dong at 11:45 a.m. on the 13th to offer condolences to the earthquake victims.
Earlier, on the 9th, Governor Kim stated through his social network service (SNS), "Gyeonggi Province wants to add hope for the victims of the T?rkiye earthquake," adding, "All Gyeonggi Provincial Office employees and the labor union have decided to raise funds for the earthquake recovery. We also plan to send letters of consolation with the warm hearts of our employees and all Gyeonggi residents."
Gyeonggi Province was the first local government nationwide to announce a historic relief fund of one million dollars to T?rkiye.
