McDonald's to Raise Prices on Some Menu Items by Up to 400 Won Starting the 16th
Average Price Increase Rate of All Items Approximately 5.4%
McDonald's announced on the 10th that it will raise the prices of some menu items by a minimum of 100 won and a maximum of 400 won starting from the 16th. The average price increase rate across all items is about 5.4%.
The representative McDonald's menu items, the 'Big Mac' and 'McSpicy Shanghai Burger' single items, will be adjusted from 4,900 won to 5,200 won, each increasing by 300 won, and the 'McCrispy Deluxe Burger' single item will increase by 100 won from 6,700 won to 6,800 won. Carbonated drinks and coffee will be raised by 100 won to a maximum of 300 won depending on the type.

A McDonald's official stated, "Due to the ongoing rise in prices, we have inevitably decided on this price adjustment to provide customers with the best products and services," adding, "We plan to continue efforts to minimize customer burden by offering up to 40% discount coupons by time slot through the official app and continuously presenting various discount benefits through 'My McDonald's Rewards.'"
