On the morning of the 9th (local time), members of the Korea Disaster Relief Team (KDRT) are giving water to 2-year-old girl Ruje, who was rescued in the Antakya area of Hatay, Turkey.

On the 6th, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck the border region between southern Turkey and northern Syria, resulting in over 20,000 deaths and tens of thousands of injuries. With aftershocks continuing and rescue efforts hampered by cold weather and heavy snowfall, the number of casualties is expected to rise.
