Haman-gun, Don't Worry About Labor Shortages During the Busy Farming Season!
Operation of Rural Workforce Brokerage Center, Connecting Agricultural Laborers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will officially operate the Rural Workforce Brokerage Center starting in February.
The county announced on the 8th that it has been selected for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Rural Employment Support Project for two consecutive years, including last year, and aims to resolve the rural labor shortage through the center.
According to the county, the center organizes groups of farm workers and recruiting farms, and brokers farm labor to farms in need of workers.
Farms requiring labor pay wages to the farm workers, while the Rural Workforce Brokerage Center supports transportation costs, insurance fees, education expenses, and team leader allowances for the farm workers.
