Yeosu City and Yeosu Future Innovation District Organizations Seek 'Mutual Development'
Held a Meeting with Resident Organizations on the 7th to Establish a Cooperative System
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Cheol-hoon] Jeonnam Yeosu City (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) announced that it held a meeting to seek win-win development plans among institutions and organizations in the Yeosu Future Innovation District and to establish an organic cooperation system.
At the meeting held on the 7th in the conference room of the Yeosu Innovation Support Center, resident institutions of the Yeosu Future Innovation District shared their projects and exchanged opinions on suggestions.
The meeting was attended by a total of 19 people, including Mayor Jeong, representatives from ▲Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Jeonnam Regional Headquarters) ▲Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Jeonnam Eastern Branch) ▲Jeonnam Yeosu Industry-Academia Convergence Center ▲Chonnam National University Process Innovation Simulation Center ▲Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology ▲Jeonnam Technopark ▲Korea Construction Living Environment Testing & Research Institute.
The attendees presented opinions to the city such as improvement plans for residential conditions to secure research personnel, activation plans for safety experience education centers, and requests for interest in follow-up projects.
On the day, Mayor Jeong personally inspected the site of the Yeosu Future Innovation District, checking each institution’s project plans and difficulties.
Jeong Gi-myeong, Mayor of Yeosu City, stated, “We will thoroughly review the proposed matters with the relevant departments to ensure there are no difficulties in project operation,” and added, “We will continue steady communication and mutual cooperation to lead the future innovation industry.”
