The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that in the afternoon of the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Choo and Minister Beckis held a meeting at the Government Seoul Office in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, where they discussed cooperation plans for the 56th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank, green finance support policies, and other topics.
Deputy Prime Minister Choo stated, "We will provide multifaceted support to ensure that economic cooperation between the two countries proceeds smoothly in various fields, including green finance."
He also highly praised Luxembourg's pioneering green finance capabilities, such as being the world's first to issue green bonds, and introduced the Korean government's efforts to revitalize green finance.
Minister Beckis expressed great interest in the Korean government's green finance support policies and indicated a desire to closely cooperate with Korea in the field of green finance going forward.
