Meeting with Jangheung-gun Student Union Officers for Communication Roundtable
Sharing Various Opinions on Youth Living and Educational Environment, and County Administration Management
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Kim Seong, Jangheung County Governor, held a communication session with local youth representatives.
According to the county on the 6th, about 10 people, including executives and officials of the Jangheung County Student Union, attended the communication meeting held at the Jangheung County Governor's office on the 3rd.

At the meeting, the students proposed nine policies, including the establishment of a sports and cultural arts space exclusively for youth and the renovation of tactile paving for the convenience of visually impaired people.
The students then freely shared their thoughts on youth life, educational environment, and county administration based on their usual experiences.
Jangheung County plans to establish a lifelong education team in 2023 and implement various educational programs targeting youth and local residents.
For middle and high school students, after enacting an ordinance to support learning beyond school classes, the county plans to provide learning incentives.
A plan for selecting talent development scholarship students and special encouragement scholarship students, conducted annually, is also scheduled to be announced within this month.
