The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Myung-seok, Vice President and Head of Samsung C&T Housing Division, and Ryu Kwang-soo, Chairman of KNA, among others.
According to this business agreement, Samsung C&T will first apply the "Garden Plants of the Year" selected by KNA in October last year to Raemian One Bailey, located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu. These include Iris ensata 'Snow Wind' and Carex kobomugi. Subsequently, the garden plants of the year selected annually will be applied to new Raemian complexes.
Samsung C&T also plans to prioritize planting tree species that the National Sejong Arboretum wishes to expand in urban areas at the Raemian Gallery or Raemian complexes. This allows residents to encounter the country's only unique tree species within Raemian complexes. Related exhibitions and educational programs will also be conducted.
Additionally, Samsung C&T will discover various quality-verified plant materials and apply them to Raemian complexes to assist local farms in developing new varieties. This will also contribute to expanding sales channels and spreading garden culture.
Vice President Kim said, "We will do our best so that living in Raemian is not only about enjoying aesthetically pleasing landscaped spaces but also about giving meaning to ecologically sustainable spaces, making life itself valuable."
