Seven Eleven Launches Silbi Kimchi Ready Meal... "Extreme Spiciness"
Spicy Flavor Series Scheduled for Continued Release
Seven Eleven announced on the 31st that it has launched two new products in line with the spicy flavor trend: the ‘Spicy Silbi Kimchi & Whole Roast Spam’ lunchbox and the ‘Spicy Silbi Kimchi Gimbap’.
The Spicy Silbi Kimchi & Whole Roast Spam lunchbox features 50g of spicy Silbi kimchi, freshly seasoned and topped in a pouch to capture the fresh taste of newly made kimchi. It is complemented by thick-textured whole roast Spam, rolled omelet, and stir-fried fish cake side dishes. The Spicy Silbi Kimchi Gimbap delivers an intense spicy flavor by layering stir-fried Silbi kimchi on top of kimchi fried rice containing Silbi kimchi, enhanced with two types of cheese and a rolled omelet for added richness.
To celebrate the launch, a Spicy Pride Challenge social media (SNS) event will be held. Until the 20th of next month, participants who post photos or videos of themselves eating or introducing the Spicy Silbi Kimchi Gimbap on their personal Instagram with the required hashtags will be entered into a draw. The first-place winner will receive a Seven Eleven mobile gift card worth 300,000 KRW.
Seven Eleven plans to expand and strengthen its differentiated spicy flavor products this year. Following the Bul-dak Corn Tuna Mayo Triangle Gimbap and Silbi Kimchi ready meals, additional ready meals with added mala sauce will be introduced.
