Providing 200,000 KRW Local Gift Certificates per Single Elderly Person Living Alone
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) provided emergency heating expenses to about 1,300 elderly living alone among the elderly customized care service recipients due to the cold wave in winter.
According to the county on the 26th, this emergency heating expense support was to help low-income elderly living alone who are struggling with recent soaring energy prices, economic crisis, and cold waves to spend a safe and warm winter.
The county provided local gift certificates worth 200,000 KRW per person, totaling 250 million KRW, to about 1,300 low-income elderly living alone, confirming their well-being so they could have a warm Lunar New Year holiday.
