[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] At around 6:28 AM on the 20th, a fire broke out at a house in Guryong Village 4 District, Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and the fire department is currently extinguishing it.
The fire department evacuated 500 people at around 7:17 AM that day.
According to the fire department, there have been no reported casualties so far.
Currently, Fire Response Level 2 has been issued. The fire department has deployed 140 personnel, 43 pieces of equipment, and fire helicopters to extinguish the fire. The fire department estimates that about 40 buildings have been destroyed by the fire.
