Helicopter Crash in Kyiv, Ukraine... "16 Dead Including Deputy Minister of Interior"

Igor Klymenko, Chief of the Ukrainian National Police, stated that the accident occurred near a kindergarten and residential buildings in the Brovary area adjacent to the northeast of Kyiv. Among the deceased were Denis Monastyrsky, Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Yevhen Yenin, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and two children. There were 22 injured, including 10 children.
Oleksiy Kuleba, Governor of Kyiv, said on Telegram, "The helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and residential buildings," adding, "Children and staff were in the kindergarten at the time of the accident."
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said, "We are currently gathering information about the situation and the victims."
