Multifaceted Efforts to Establish an Industrial Ecosystem Foundation

According to Mokpo National University on the 18th, Professor Moon Chae-ju has contributed to the establishment of regional innovation plans by attending regional innovation council meetings over the past four years and providing policy suggestions as a regional expert to ensure concrete measures are taken in policies and practices related to future new industries and the energy industry.

In particular, regarding new energy industries, he has taken the lead in realizing national balanced development through multifaceted efforts to build an industrial ecosystem foundation, such as 'establishing collaboration with energy public enterprises' and 'expanding innovation infrastructure.'
Furthermore, he has shown exceptional interest and effort in regional development by serving as an advisory review member for regional innovation institutions across all industrial and economic sectors in Jeollanam-do, and has actively participated in various energy-related committees, providing advice on energy administration and policy formulation.
Since August 1997, Professor Moon Chae-ju has been serving as a professor at Mokpo National University, leading energy new industry education not only for university students but also for public officials, housewives, and general citizens, significantly emphasizing the importance of energy saving and eco-friendly renewable energy by delivering accurate information and knowledge about the energy new industry.
In 2017, he led the establishment of the Energy Valley Industry-Academia Convergence Center in the Naju Innovation Industrial Complex and has been serving as its director since April 2017, successfully conducting research and investigation on regional energy new industry issues, policy development, and business support projects.
