Chosun University Hospital Passes Ministry of Health and Welfare Evaluation... Re-designated as Regional Emergency Medical Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University Hospital (Director Kim Kyungjong) has been re-designated as a 'Regional Emergency Medical Center.'
Chosun University announced on the 17th that it passed the '2022 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare evaluated facilities, equipment, and personnel at emergency medical institutions nationwide (39 Regional Emergency Medical Centers, 125 Local Emergency Medical Centers, and 243 Local Emergency Medical Institutions) and made the final decision on re-designation.
The designation period is from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025, and Chosun University Hospital will serve as the Regional Emergency Medical Center, the final treatment institution for emergency patients, for the next three years.
