Driver Injury Charges Under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 50s who stabbed a taxi driver with a weapon inside a moving taxi was arrested by the police.
On the 4th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 50s, Mr. A, on charges of injuring a driver under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing taxi driver Mr. B about 10 times in the back of the neck with a weapon from the back seat while driving on a road near Garak Market in Songpa-gu, Seoul, around 8 a.m. the previous day.
Mr. B was immediately taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
