[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, has urged NATO allies including Germany to supply additional weapons to Ukraine.
In a year-end interview with dpa news agency on the 30th local time, Secretary General Stoltenberg said, "Military support for Ukraine is the fastest path to peace."
He stated, "Every country has the right to defend itself," and assessed that Ukraine's recent attacks on Russian mainland military facilities are justified.

He further explained that Ukraine's attacks are taking place amid Russia's ruthless destruction of civilian infrastructure in an attempt to deprive Ukrainian civilians of water, heating, and electricity during the winter.
