BNK Gyeongnam Bank Supports Heating Costs for Local Underprivileged Groups... Donates 6.9 Million Won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 30th that it has donated "6.9 million won" to support heating costs for the underprivileged in the region.
The donation will be delivered to 69 low-income households (below 100% of the median income standard) in the Changwon area through the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank decided to donate part of the unused budget allocated for the "Golden New Start!! Customer Event" held in the first half of the year.
Kim Young-won, Group Leader of the Customer Support Group, said, "We decided to donate funds to deliver warm energy to the underprivileged in the region who are shivering in the cold. Since the budget was prepared for customers, we thought it was meaningful to give back to the local community. We will strive to become BNK Gyeongnam Bank, loved by customers and local residents."
