AK Plaza Unveils Large-Scale Artwork in Hongdae... "A Gallery in the Heart of the City"
Selected Works from Art Contest for Citizens Presented
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] AK Plaza announced on the 28th that it will operate a citizen-participatory 'artwork' on the exterior wall of the Hongdae shopping mall.
The total area is 245㎡ and it was installed on the glass wall located at the front of AK Plaza Hongdae. A contest for citizen-submitted works was held, and the selected works are showcased through the artwork.
Starting with this artwork installation, AK Plaza plans to accelerate efforts to establish the Hongdae branch as a landmark by promoting subculture and urban galleries.
